Another point of view. Batman was already broken due to the joker, that’s why he couldn’t defeat Bane in the first conflict.
I agree. He wasn’t the same Batman he was in Batman Begins and the beginning of The Dark Knight. Alfred said as much.

There was a big fuss about Bane breaking The Bat but IMO Joker broke him when he killed Rachel. Batman was broken in The Dark Knight, Bane just stuck the knife in deeper.

Ugh, I think I have some sort of flu/bug. :(
I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like shit and then when I woke up this morning I felt worse. Fever, chills, headache, stuffy nose, body pain, the works.
